Copywriting & Storytelling

Writing that says something specific: web pages, campaigns, case studies and long-form, in a voice that sounds like your company rather than like a category.

Overview

Most business writing is vague because vagueness is safe. Nobody objects to leveraging synergies to deliver value, and nobody is persuaded by it either. Specificity is what makes writing work, and it requires knowing something true and being willing to say it.

We write from evidence: your customers' words, your actual numbers, the objections your sales team hears. That means more time up front asking questions and considerably less time in revision, because the draft contains things only your company could say.

Who this is for

  • Companies whose website could describe any competitor
  • Teams whose writing takes six rounds of revision to say nothing
  • Businesses with strong work and no case studies written up
What's included

How we approach copywriting & storytelling

The specific pieces of work a typical engagement covers. Scope is agreed up front — nothing here is a surprise line item later.

  • Website and landing page copy

Pages structured around what a reader needs to decide, with the strongest claim first rather than after three paragraphs of preamble.

  • Case studies

Written from customer interviews with real numbers and a real problem. The ones with named constraints are the ones prospects finish.

  • Long-form and thought leadership

Articles that take a position and support it. Neutral overviews of a topic are already available everywhere.

  • Campaign and ad copy

Short-form written for the format, tested where volume allows rather than chosen by committee.

  • Tone of voice

A documented voice with examples of what is right and what is wrong, so it survives a change of writer.

  • Editing and rewriting

Working with what your experts have written, which is often the fastest route to something both accurate and readable.

How it runs

From first call to measured result

The same sequence every time, so you always know what happens next.

  1. Interview

Talk to the people who know: customers, sales, the specialists. The material comes from here rather than from a brief.

  2. Structure

Agree the argument and the order before writing prose, which is where most revision cycles are actually saved.

  3. Draft

Write it, with the claims traceable to something specific rather than asserted.

  4. Refine

Two rounds of revision built into the price. More than that usually means the structure was wrong, not the words.

Why it's worth doing

Outcomes, not deliverables

A pile of artefacts isn't progress. These are the changes the work is meant to produce — and what we report against.

  • Writing that distinguishes you

Specific claims are the difference between a page about you and a page about your category.

  • Fewer revision rounds

Agreeing structure before prose consistently cuts the review cycle in half.

  • Case studies that get read

Real constraints and real numbers hold attention that a testimonial quote does not.

  • A voice that outlasts the writer

Documented with examples, so the next person to write for you can match it.

Questions

Common questions about Copywriting & Storytelling

The things people ask before they get in touch. If yours is not here, ask us directly.

How much of our time will this take?

An hour or two of interviews per substantial piece, plus review. That interview time is what makes the draft specific, and cutting it is the most reliable way to end up with generic copy and six rounds of revision.

Can you write about a technical subject?

Yes, working from interviews with your specialists. We would rather be edited on accuracy by an expert than pretend to expertise we do not have, and that process usually produces something more readable than either party would write alone.

Do you use AI to write?

For research and structuring, sometimes. Not for the finished text, because what makes copy work is the specific detail that comes out of an interview, and that is exactly what a model cannot supply.

How many revisions are included?

Two rounds. If a third is needed we usually got the structure wrong, and we would rather redo the outline than keep adjusting sentences.
